As she tours for the launch of her debut album, Leddra Capman will be visiting Switzerland this weekend! She will be offering two exclusive performances: A first one at the legendary Longboarder shop in Biel on Saturday 12th December from 15h30; and a second one at the Kreuz restaurant in Nidau on Sunday 13th December from 20h00. If you’re a lover of Glühwein, ginger bread and good music, make sure you join us for some pre-Christmas celebration!
And if you can’t, don’t worry! Leddra’s debut album “Telling Tales” is also available digitally on Itunes now.
Photoshoots can take long days… the good thing about working with musitians is that you can end up having an out of the blue private concert wherever you are…
Check out Quiksilver woman Charlotte O’Connor performing live her song “Bridges” at Green Park in London a few weeks ago…

Whether you live in Southern Europe, in the nordics or smack in the middle of the old continent – there is a coat for you! The weatherman could be calling for a mild 15 degrees and sunny or 2 degrees and snowing, and the same coat applies. What is this miraculous coat?
It is the short-sleeve Decades fleece! Short Sleeve? I know, sounds crazy, but hear me out.
A short sleeve coat is Versatile with a capital “V”. For the mild weather days, it is the perfect layer to toss on with jeans, a tee and motorcycle boots. For the cold weather days, build on top of your cozy sweater and show off your new elbow length gloves.
If you still are a firm believer of long sleeve coats, don’t worry! Try the Priviledge coat: Fully lined, 50% wool - the perfect winter coat to keep yourself extra warm.
So now you have no excuse not to make a statement with your winter coat, no matter what the weatherman says!
The face of an angel, a cheeky elegance, and a unique voice… Julie Boulanger is a woman of beauty, gentleness and creativity. She has the soul of a born entertainer and is a multi-talented artist. Born in Paris, she’s devoted her life to acting and has recently created a band together with Michael Clement. The sound of “Freckles” is a mixture of acoustic and rhythmic folk melodies, with her husky voice transporting us to an inspired, bohemian new world.

She starts the trends – she unabashedly mixes prints (snakeskin and plaid, anyone?) – she piles on the accessories with ease. One minute she is sporting body-conscious dresses.. the next she “grunge-ing” it up 90’s style.
Her shoe closet is one to envy, but she doesn’t shy away from being “recession-savy” with low-end brands and vintage scores from thrift shops. She is one to watch.. she is our Quiksilver Woman of the Week.. Lulu!
Christmas shoppers in Bath (UK) got a shock last week when 3 Quiksilver store mannequins launched into two 30 minute sets under the name of Ellie Lawson and her merry band!! Oh what fun we had watching the little kids point and dance along! It was a very surreal experience playing music behind a sheet of glass and thinking that you could hear the applause as hands were moving, but actually not being able to hear a thing! Luckily we had monitors so we could hear our music and the big speakers were outside the shop!
The actor Nicolas Cage turned on the Christmas lights at the top of the hill and we were at the bottom of the hill so we managed to catch people on their way up and back down. Maybe they will ask us to turn the lights on one day- I will keep dreaming but until then we are back again in Bath this coming Saturday for the official Bath Quiksilver store opening! Yeay! Cant wait to get back in my glass box and make some more kids run in circles! So many people were filming us with their phones, but what do they do with it afterwards? Hopefully it will turn up on my youtube page at some point in the future!
Thanks Carmen for having us at the shop, thank you Meena for arranging for us to play-twice, everyone that helped us choose clothes and sell CDs at the shop, my band Dave Harewood and Hils Granger, the sound guy Steve that lives on a boat in Bath and the artist Si Connerly for the pic’s and for the video footage that I will put up next week after Saturdays ‘Shop Window Show’ y’all! Love Ellie xxx
