A Layered Up Look

.

.

.
All this fall weather has me turning my favorite QSW pieces into layered up looks.
.
I fell in love with the Coolidge Springs Tank this spring.. and can’t stop wearing it even in the cooler weather. The dramatic drape at the back makes it the perfect layering piece and always adds an unexpected element. (It is on sale right now!)
.
And then.. of course the Juxtapose Skirt has become a staple this fall. It is a simple jersey skirt, but the length is right on trend. Adding tights and boots gave this skirt a whole new personality.. but if it isn’t chilly.. hold the tights.. and just wear the boots.

European Diaries: Jacqueline

.
Two girls.. four suitcases.. and Europe to conquer…

.

It really was a magical day in London! After spending a few hours with Shini and Jennifer, the sun kept shining and Jacqueline came to visit and sip drinks on the terrace.
.

Jacqueline, the fabulous fashion blogger of Platform Princess, was drawn to the soft silks and rich tones of the fall collection. After sifting through the racks she decided on a look that was absolutely her! She slipped on the Outside Line Dress and paired it with the Fool for Love Top that she styled as a shrug - genius!
.

It was a perfect hour of sharing styling secrets, discussing feminine tatoos and talking personal style.

Laurel
captured every minute of our terrace time…

QSW by Bara Prasilova in Prague’s Designblock

Being able to inspire someone is a great gift. One of the few people who have inspired me along the way is Bara Prasilove with her breath taking yet simple photography. And although Bara has this wonderful and profound personality, our connection has always been based on our adoration for each other’s work. It had been in the plans of both of us to team up and see if we could complete her photos with my texts and vice versa. When she contaced me this summer and asked me if she could use my texts to fulfil the installation of her photos for Quiksilver at this year’s Designblock, I couldn’t have agreed more. This should be an easy task for me, I thought, her pictures would do the talking – I just had to listen…
.
A few weeks later I found myself next to Bara walking into an old building that used to be one of Prague’s bigger hospitals. It was gigantic, including a massive entrance hall and a huge stair case that lead to plenty of little rooms. All of them served as exhibit places for anything one could associate with design – scented candles, glassworks, porcelain restoration, degradable cutlery, hookahs, jewellery and right in the middle of it all a room full of Quiksilver Women’s clothing. And there they were, Bara’s pictures and my texts. And just as I had expected, while her pictures did the talking, my texts stood next to it and listened…

Catching up with Quiksilver woman Leddra Chapman

With heartfelt, honest lyrics that come straight from the soul, Quiksilver Women brand ambassador Leddra-Chapman is truly one of the most gifted young songwriters and vocalists in Britain today.

.
On a break from her UK Tour to promote her debut album “Telling Tales”, Leddra spent a few days at the Quiksilver House in Hossegor with her good friend and musician Ed Sheeran. With their feet on the sand and surrounded by the ocean and the forest in les Landes, this was the perfect trip to write a few new songs, do a couple of gigs with friends and recharge batteries!
.
Here’s an insight into what Leddra’s been up to and what lies ahead with the release of her new single “Eddie”.
.
Enjoy!
