I’ve just returned from a week spent along the coast of California.. there is nothing like it… and it is the perfect summer road trip!
Some highlights: driving along the beautiful Highway 1, stopping off in little towns like Cambria and Carmel for brunch, the constant coastal scenery, shopping at road side antique stores and markets, taking it all in with no real agenda or plan…
… exactly what a road trip should be about.. whatever.. whenever!

We bumped into these amazing photos the other day… and though we should find out more about the amazing artist behind them… The story turned out pretty simple… yet so inspiring…
California born Clark Little moved to the North Shore of Oahu (Hawaii) at the age of two. In 2007, Clark discovered his ability and passion to capture the extraordinary beauty of the shorebreak when his wife asked him for a picture of the ocean to decorate a bedroom wall. Clark went out and bought a camera. And then with the confidence of an experienced surfer, jumped in the ocean, and started snapping away, recording the beauty and power of the Hawaiian waves. From the first day he was hooked and has been addicted ever since.

For our second season of Quiksilver Women’s we got our inspiration from a small beach community in San Francisco called the Outer Sunset. Inspired by the coast and the mountains, but filtered through a beautiful lens is where we find the collaboration of John Moore and artist Serena Mitnik- Miller, creating an authentic coastal Autumn line while staying true to the Quiksilver roots.

Night after night her purple traffic, Strews the landing with opal bales;

Hello Lovely People,
Charlotte here… just thought I’d fill you in on what I’ve been up to over the last six months ; it’s been rather hectic..
After lots of hard work, (and many late nights in the studio,) I am proud to announce the release of my debut album in partnership with Quiksilver, for this October. I can’t believe it’s all finally happening!
“For Kenny” (after my best childhood friend… my imaginary mouse..) is something that I hope everyone will enjoy. I’ve included tracks from the early years, and of course, lots of new material for you all to get stuck into.
I will also be releasing my debut single, “Treasure Island” in September and in preparation for all this, I shall be shooting off on a promotional tour, starting at the Quiksilver Pro in New York and finishing at the Quiksilver Pro France. This time I won’t be in my trusty camper van (boo) but I’ve instead upgraded to a proper tour bus (how very grown up!) Although I’ve toured alongside The Script, Newton Faulkner, James Morrison etc, this will be the first time I’ve headlined my own European Tour!
