QUIKSILVER PARTNERS WITH HOFFMAN CALIFORNIA FABRICS ON VINTAGE-INSPIRED DRESS COLLECTION AVAILABLE EXCLUSIVELY ON EBAY
100% OF PROCEEDS TO BE DONATED TO E.P.I.C. CHARITY
Huntington Beach, CA (April 9, 2012) – Quiksilver and Hoffman California Fabrics have collaborated on a collection of 25 one-of-a-kind vintage-inspired fabric dresses. The limited-edition dresses will be available through a charity auction on eBay, the world’s largest online marketplace and leading destination for fashion. While the design of the dresses is new and seasonal, the material used for the fabrication was sourced from the vast and iconic Hoffman archives.

These unique pieces will be available exclusively on quiksilverauction.com from April 9th thru April 19th.. The collaboration is an effort to raise money and create awareness for E.P.I.C. (Everyday People Initiating Change), a non-profit organization committed to bringing safe, clean drinking water to a number of villages in the developing world. 100% of the sale proceeds will be donated to E.P.I.C.
Quiksilver and Hoffman California Fabrics have a long and storied relationship dating back to the 1970s with the production of Quiksilver’s first pair of signature printed boardshorts.

“We were so excited to dig deep into our heritage and re-ignite a collaboration that is one of the most special relationships we have had over the years,’” says Quiksilver VP of Sales and Marketing, Kenna Florie. “Hoffman California Fabrics have the most wonderful and relevant prints. Going into the archives, picking out the fabric for each dress and then breathing some new life into it through design was such a fun project and exciting way to share the history of our brand.”
Quiksilver has been involved with E.P.I.C. for 4 years helping to fund seven water wells in Tanzania, Africa. Quiksilver will continue to support E.P.I.C. through monetary donations and recognizing E.P.I.C. Founders, Tennille Amor and Alexi Panos as part of the Quiksilver Women Ambassador Program.
The Quiksilver/Hoffman auction is being managed on eBay by Auction Cause, a premier online auction management agency specializing in high-profile design, strategy, and cause marketing for corporations and nonprofits worldwide.
