Quiksilver woman Bara Prasilova at Transphotographiques, Lille.

.

It was rainy and cold in french Lille, but I really didn’t care. Firstly, because I love spring rain and secondly and more importantly, because I was exhibiting in a big photo-festival called Transphotographiques. It was such an awesome venue, so much wicked art, that even my photos didn’t care about a few raindrops :-)

.

The exhibition took place in a huge hall at the Palais Rameau. Part of my photo collection was shown in the glass part of the palace. It looked a bit like a massive greenhouse, with huge chandeliers and lots of light, and my pictures there were 2×2 meters!!! The first impression when I walked in was so magical!!! Soft rays of light were going through the pics and it was all quiet…
.

So, I left my umbrella in Lille and came back to Prague full of awesome memories and three issues of Photo magazine where I have 2 featured pages!!! My dreams came true in France:-)

.

There was just one this missing there… my swan :-) … but you’ll meet him soon… stay tuned!…

When Quiksilver celebrates female creativity…

Me having a blast hosting this night - Photo: Helen Boast

.

It’s not that we wouldn’t appreciate such things as International Women’s Day, but the thing with us Quiksilver Women is just that we are independent females and we don’t need others to set up occasions to celebrate ourselves. That’s why we European Quiksilver Ambassadors gathered up four days after 2009’s Internationel Women’s day to celebrate female creativity at its best! Cuz everyday is a Quiksilver women’s day!
