Thanksgiving through the instagram Lens

I don’t know about you.. but I love the holidays! I spent the last week celebrating with friends and family, eating deliciousness every night and shopping it up on Black Friday.

Here’s a peek of my holiday fun through the lens of instagram.

Finally got the fireplace up and running, and spent many nights cuddled up in front with this cute little pup!
Celebrated the beginning of Christmas with bright red nails, and layered up my looks on cold winter nights.
The Thanksgiving smhorgazbord was in full force this year and I stuffed myself to the brim, then finished the night with apple pie and a cozy fire.
Playing with a new hair style and some Lennon sunnies!

Snapshots of New York

I just returned from a week in New York, and I wanted to share a few snapshots of the whirlwind week.

Fall was ablaze in the city that never sleeps… the leaves were painted autumn colors, the rain drizzled down wet and cold and scarves and jackets were a necessity.

I loved and soaked up every minute in the city, but after a week… I was ready to see and smell the pacific ocean with it’s breezes and fog that rolls in every night.. that is my fall!

Coastal Halloween

With Halloween around the corner, I thought I’d leave behind talk of fashion and dive into the holiday spirit!

Style translates from clothes to home decor, and for the seasons it’s fun to get in the mood. This season, why not let the coast inspire some pumpkin carving that fits right in to the carefree days by the sea.

Who says the coast doesn’t have seasons.. we can bring them together in one happy Halloween marriage! So get decorating.

Dressing up the Brewsters

Dressing up my QSW Brewster slim boyfriend jeans

To gussy them up, I pulled out one of my favorite bow-tie blouse and paired it with this vintage “chanel-ish” jacket. It felt casual.. yet chic!  For the last touch, I slipped on my bow-embellished pumps. They were a charity shop discovery, and I have a feeling I’ll be bow-ing up a lot of looks this fall.

Get the look: labor day beach day

Another look at some labor day fun! Your weekend may HOPEFULLY send you down to the beach, lake or any fabulous body of water that lets you cool off and unwind before heading back into reality.

So take one last chance to celebrate summer, and show off your summer tan in the Iconic bikini . Layer up your look with the Autumn leaves strappy tank dress and throw on a wide brim hat and sandals.

One last hurrah before summer ends.. make it a good one!

Jeans and a Top

Jeans and a top.. something  that we all wear and looks great.

I love the simple look that this creates, but can be dressed up for what ever your style or personality.

How do you wear your jeans and a top?

Summer Blogger Style

Top to Bottom: 1234

Summer is rolling on and it is easy to get stuck in a rut.. the warm weather keeps things simple and there are only so many days you can wear denim shorts. So to help us out of our rut.. I give you blogger style to get your inspiration juices flowing.

Everything is easy.. no fuss.. but ever-so-chic and very summery!

The Road Trip

I’ve just returned from a week spent along the coast of California.. there is nothing like it… and it is the perfect summer road trip!

Some highlights: driving along the beautiful Highway 1, stopping off in little towns like Cambria and Carmel for brunch, the constant coastal scenery, shopping at road side antique stores and markets, taking it all in with no real agenda or plan…

… exactly what a road trip should be about.. whatever.. whenever!

Braids of Summer

Another load of inspiration all about braids.

Summer is hot and sticky, beachy and wavy.. so to keep your hair looking fab not drab.. braid it up.

I love the three looks above.. really easy and breezy.
